This is on top of Aorangi Peak overlooking Rotorua. I wonder what the Maori word Rotorua means? It is an amazing view. Charlotte is a little scared of heights but I'm looking after her. Behind us yu can see the lake. Do you know what tourist attraction Rototrua is famous for? See if you can find out.

We did some searching, and we discovered that in the word Rotorua, "roto" means "lake," and "rua," means "two." So together it means, "second lake." Apparently this was the second lake Maori chief Ihenga discovered. We also learned that the area is well known for geysers and bubbling mud pools. Sounds like a neat place to visit!
