ICAS TESTS
People who had signed a form to do the icas test have sat them and the tests are maths, reading, spelling and writing and it cost money. First you have to fill in your name in these little circles that have little letters in the circles. You have to have a special type of pencil because when it go to Australia to get marked it goes through a scanner that marks it and it can only mark the special type of pencil and you need to press down sort of hard.
In maths you do problem solving, dividing , sharing and some geometry. In reading you have to read the sentences and then you have to answer the question on the other page it starts off easy and gets harder. In spelling you have to spell heaps of words like printer.
In writing, you have to think of your own topic to write about and you get five minutes to plan it. You get 45 minutes to write it, then 5 minutes to edit it. When it goes to Australia it gets scanned. After a while it comes back to us marked and it ways whether we get credit, particiaption or distinction or high distinction. I think I might get a credit for maths .
