Sunshine was sneaking through the clouds as we joined the rest of Team Weka and walked around the Wetlands Track. Lots of parents came with us and we all enjoyed the stroll in the sunshine. We observed lots of wildlife and different varieties of plants. Lunch was enjoyed and a quick play on the playground before heading back to school. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful resource so close to school.

It was really fun in the Wetlands. I saw a few cats and it was a really nice walk.

I really enjoyed the day and getting to know some of you in Room 17 that I didn't know already. It was such lovely weather and the walk was fun. Weren't the horses wonderful.. from Tanya :-)
