Dogonews Report 7 - A Very Rich Little Dog

Athletics day

On the 2 of November is our Athletics day and we get to do relays with battons. We have been deciding who is going to be in the Room 16 relay team.

Fizz Bang Pop

Fizz Bang Pop is our sience name.On Monday the 12 of October Room16 went to Rooms 13 14 15 16 to do different sience activities. The reason why we called it Fizz Bang Pop is because most chemistry things go Fizz Bang Pop. My favourite one was room16 because we got to pass the bottle around with lemonade in it . When you throw it lots it fizzes up and when you open the lid it spurts out and some people got wet and so they got sticky.

Swimming

For the next 2 weeks we are doing Swimming lessons at QE2 and we have to arrive at school 8.20 everyday which is quite a rush.

New furniture

At the start of of the term Room16 saw that we got new furniture. These are some of the things that we got , a little red round table for only 1 person , some seats for two people and we have a big high bench with 3 stools.People love to sit at the high table.

Cookie

Today cookie is doing paper mache he loved it so much he got glue all over him.Also he has been having so much fun.

Paper mache

For the last 4 weeks we have been doing paper mache.First we got a ballon then we got news print
once we had done that layer we got news paper then we keep going in pattens then we can chose
what we can make.We can't put to much.

My cat Oscar

I have a cat called Oscar and he is Grey and he has a bit of white under his neck. It makes him look cute.He has a collar that is blue.Unfortunately we call him Oscar the grouch.He doesn't bite when
you pick him up he loves it.If you hold him for too long he will bite and it will hurt.He is 14 years old.In cat years he is about 24 years old.He is annoying sometimes because he gets in your
way. We have to put him outside because the alarm will go off.

Raweke

This is Raweke and he is our class toy that we take home.Mrs Royle got him from Te Papa in
Wellington.Whoever takes him home brings him back and at the end of the day they pick
someone that has been nice to each other or listening well.There's a book that goes home as well
Raweke is blue white and black and has a red beak and red feet.He loves going home with room16's children.Everyones taken him home.He's got white and black eyes.Sometimes when he goes home he sometimes gets up to mischief.He's always eating rubbish food like fish and chips and he loves eating things like that.He has fun in the weekend.

My Baby Blanket

Last term for my Pride Challenge, I made a baby blanket. It was cream on one side and wiggles on the other. I gave it to the City Mission.
