3-D PUKEKO

Last week and the week before that Room 17 made 3-D Pukekos. First we drew the background then we painted the background then we let the paint dry and we went over with a second coat. Next we carefully traced our own pukeko outline and coloured it in with pastel and cut it out. They looked really good but it wasn't perfect so we made some harakeke and stuck them on for more effect. To get the 3-d effect we folded a strip of paper and folded it three times and then stuck the pukekos on to the background.
