The Exploding Experiment

Woosh! As we watched  the bubbles shooting up like a rocket trying to fight their way out of the cup.  The bubbles were  about 2 cms high and they were running over the edge of the cup like lava from a volcano. We started observing how this happened and wondered why this was happening. We figured out the acids and the alkali were mixed together to make one big reaction.
