Room 17 and the whole school are very sad to say that the Olympics Day has been postponed because the grass is wet. If we run we could get hurt and that wouldn't be pretty. We don't know when it will be back on but when we know we will keep you updated.

Swimming Lessons at Graham Condon
The first day that we started swimming was on Monday the 16th . We go to swimming lessons every day for two weeks which is awesome because we can learn how to swim better. The groups that we have are Tiger sharks, sharks, baracuttas, jelly fish, flounders, sting rays and marlins. When we are heading to Graham Condon we leave at 11:30am and we come back at 1:00pm. Well I think that swimming is an amazing sport and so fun.

Performance Day
On Monday the 30th of April we went to a performance called 'The first day of school'. It was about not being mean to people because it will always come back to you and always be grateful on what you get. The actors were very funny, mean and cool. The Mum and Dad were very funny and weird as they kept on going on about Justin Bieber. The characters names were Amy, Winston and Mr Waipata :)

Our classroom has changed!
On the first day of school we walked into the class and wow what a big change! It looks amazing. Everyone was going the wrong way to their tote tray like Lily and I, we were going the wrong way to the other side. All mums and Dads are welcome to come in and see.

Parent help

Amazing well done Chrissy and all the parents who have helped us in Room 17. We are really glad that mums are there to help us. On Mondays we have Max's mum here to help us.
We are so spoilt and such a lucky class. Our parent helps assist with things in class like: Reading, Maths, Writing and Blogging just to name a few things. And we will have to give them a Windsor woosh and the Windsor woosh goes like this 3..2..1 Whoooshhhhhhh!
