Rowan of Rin

Last term we read Rowan of Rin. We had to concentrate on what Mrs Royle was reading. It was a great book.

Talent show

There was a talent show.I was in it .I sang Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green day. My brother did guitar with me and it was fun. I was a bit nervous at the start but I had a big smile and I got through so I can do it at the fair with my brother. I'm really, really,really happy. Mrs Royle was watching and some of my other friends were there as well. Everyone said I was good! Hopefully me and my brother do well.

World Literacy Day Today

We had world literacy day and lots of dads, uncles and grandads came to read to us. My dad came and he read The Patch. It's about a girl who has a lazy eye and said that ballerinas don't have patches or glasses so that was what he read ! Then we played midnight. It's a game you get into a circle and some one numbers everyone then you play the game! I showed him around the school then went home with him!

Ka Pai

Ka Pai is a kiwi . He is going to Australia to visit our Epals. He is one of our native birds.He is a flightless bird.They eat worms, insects and many more.They are very scared of humans.They hunt at night and go to sleep at day.Kiwi are endangered and you can find them in the zoo.They are very rare.

Cross Country 2009

This year for our cross country we had to run around the school. Instead of Clarevale reserve.We had hay bales down that we had to jump over . It took five weeks to train but it was worth it.
Cross country was fun!

Office Staff

This is one of the ladies who works in the office. Her name is Lesa. If we get hurt she puts some ice on our sore spot.There is also a lady called Megan in the office.She knows most of our names.
I broke my arm and she was there to help me and she also looked after me. A few days ago I hurt my arm again.Oh well I feel better now.It didn't hurt that much any way.
